Andy Tannock opened the first Hunting & Fishing New Zealand store in Palmerston North in 1986 with a simple idea of ensuring the great outdoors is accessible for all.

Today the momentum of that vision continues with 40 stores nationwide, all 100% locally owned, operated, and committed to enabling and inspiring your own dreams and goals in the outdoors.
